Scarp

Scarp lies to the west of the Outer Hebrides between West Loch Tarbert and Loch Resort, separated from the island of Harris by a narrow stretch of shallow water. The last islanders left Scarp in 1972, although there are several small cottages which are inhabited at times during the summer months.
