Elizabeth G

Elizabeth G

Elizabeth G is a stunning small ship. Built in Norway, she was once in service as an ice-class rescue vessel and stationed just north of Bergen. Elizabeth G was converted to the popular 'trawler yacht' style cruise vessel by her current owner, Rob Barlow, in 2005. Elizabeth G is coded to Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Category 1 for journeys up to 150 miles from a safe haven.

Comfortably equipped and fully stabilised, Elizabeth G is the ideal small ship to take you on your Scottish islands cruise. Guest accommodation comprises of six twin cabins which are all centrally heated with storage facilities, a seat and hand basin. The cabins all have non-opening portholes and the vessel is carpeted throughout. There are two showers and three toilets.

At deck level there is a spacious day saloon with huge double-glazed windows to give excellent all-round views. A heated entrance lobby at the stern provides drying facilities for walking boots and waterproof clothing to ensure that the accommodation is kept dry and clean at all times.

Externally, covered walkways provide good shelter on the side decks and there is seating at the bow and stern. The upper, or observation, deck is the ideal place to keep a sharp lookout for whales and dolphins.

We're confident that Elizabeth G is in every way capable of providing you with what our guests have called the 'Chalice Experience'!
