With professional wildlife photographer Chris Gomersall
Saturday June 12th - Sunday june 20th | 8 nights | £1550 per person
This cruise is aimed at anyone with an interest in photography or who wants to improve their skills and techniques. The week will provide you with a variety of subject material and challenges that have to be met head on by professionals. Non-participating partners are welcome.
Chris Gomersall is one of the UK's top wildlife photographers and recent winner of the 2007 GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award. After fourteen years as staff photographer with the RSPB, Chris embarked on a freelance career and specialises in birds, nature, wildlife and the environment. A regular contributor to RSPB Birds magazine and BBC Wildlife magazine, his first major publication Photographing Wild Birds was published in 2001. The magnificent 'Birds Britannica', published in 2005, is further testament to his talent. Chris's work is regularly recognised in international competitions and in 2002 he was acclaimed as a runner up in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards.
Following another successful foray in 2008 when we journeyed out to the St kilda Archipelago, we're no heading off again in 2010 for another adventure-packed week. We've decided not to 'do' St Kilda again, but travel the waters of the Inner and Outer Hebrides, eliminating the long sea-crossings to and from St Kilda. It is quite likely that this trip will over-subscribe so book early to avoid disappointment!
You will benefit by tapping into the knowledge of an experienced professional photographer, who will be on hand to offer advice and tips to help you to improve your skill behind the camera and really get the most out of your holiday and your camera.
