The week will provide you with a variety of subject material and challenges that have to be met head on by professionals. Non-participating partners are welcome.

Chris GomersallChris Gomersall is one of the UK's top wildlife photographers and has recently won the GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award. After fourteen years as staff photographer with the RSPB, Chris embarked on a freelance career and specialises in birds, nature, wildlife and the environment. A regular contributor to RSPB Birds magazine and BBC Wildlife magazine, his first major publication Photographing Wild Birds was published in 2001. The magnificent 'Birds Britannica', published in 2005, is further testament to his talent. Chris's work is regularly recognised in international competitions and in 2002 he was acclaimed as a runner up in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards.

This year we're planning to venture further afield, venturing across the Minch to the Outer Hebrides in search of more cetaceans and pelagic birds. You’ll be presented with many opportunities to capture interesting and challenging images, with the itinerary purposely left flexible to accommodate the requirements of the group and the ever changing weather.

You will benefit by tapping into the knowledge of an experienced professional photographer, who will be on hand to offer advice and tips to help you to improve your skill behind the camera and really get the most out of your holiday and your camera.
